Extract of perfume scent notes
Amber
Ambergris, the mysterious scent from the sea, has been known since ancient times and is a grayish metabolic product with a waxy consistency. The substance originally served as a fragrant remedy and aphrodisiac. The rare gray ambergris was considered so valuable that it was worth its weight in gold. Ambra has an intense and warm scent with woody, dry and balsamic nuances.
incense
The extraction of real frankincense resin (olibanum) takes several months and the yield depends heavily on the age, size and condition of the tree. The resin is characterized by a warm balsamic-spicy, woody and characteristic scent. The essential frankincense oil obtained from the resin has a full balsamic, resinous-woody scent with light lemon notes.
Vanilla
The genus Vanilla belongs to the orchids and includes around 110 species. The climbing plant originally comes from Mexico and Central America and the Aztecs already valued its high value. The pods are harvested shortly before they are ripe and subjected to complex treatment including fermentation - this process produces, among other things: the characteristic aromatic vanillin with the warm, tart-spicy scent.
cedar
Cedar, also called Cedrus, belongs to the conifers, the Pinaceae plant family. Cedars are native to the mountainous areas of the Himalayas and the Mediterranean. The oil obtained from cedar wood is one of the oldest scents in perfumery. Cedarwood has an intensely woody, spicy and balsamic scent and is often used as a warming component in woody, chypre and fougère scents.

With its unusual iris note and balanced amber facets, Atlas' apparent delicacy hides an outstanding composition from leading perfumers that stands out. The premier class – the “Extrait de Parfum”
A scent like a second skin with incomparable elegance. Discreetly noticeable but not intrusive, sensual yet powerful, Atlas wears itself like a second skin and does not flood the room. It invites you to dress in subtle yet noticeable delicate elegance. An intense, harmonious and voluminous perfume.
The fine art of perfume creation
We produce at least Eau de Parfum quality with 16% or more perfume oil content, as the compositions used are not only particularly intense, but also noticeable for a long time.
The different perfume qualities differ primarily in the concentration of the perfume oil they contain. Eau de Cologne (EdC), originally intended as refreshing water, is very volatile with 3-5% oil content. Eau de toilette (EdT) with a perfume oil content of around 6-9% is often found in drugstores or perfumeries. Eau de Parfum (EdP), on the other hand, has a higher proportion of 10-16% fragrance concentrate. The “top class” is the Extrait de Parfum with over 20% perfume oil - these special scents are intense and of the highest quality and can therefore be applied sparingly.
The scents from sober Fragrances are designed by world-renowned perfumers in Germany and France.
